Hi, All

This is a sheer curiosity question:

I have two different types of pushrods in my vast collection, the difference being in the socket that the rocker ajustment "balls" fit into.

The first is what I would regard to be the "normal" type- when looked at in profile, it's a basic inverted cone.

The second looks more like a bucket- it has straight sides at the top and appears to be deeper. They were also only fitted to the exhaust tappets (I think exhaust).

What were the second type fitted to, are they better, etc, etc?

Cheers

It's a mix and match of A series and A+, the ones being inverted cones are A+.
