Hi I m from Vancouver Canada
I m looking to build a Zcar mini with a bike motor
And was wondering if there are any already done in Canada
Looking to meet some frds with the same interest !!

Hi I'm in Toronto and have really been thinking about building one but I think I might buy one from the UK and ship it over here.

To build one I would have to buy a car, buy the kit and all the bits and an engine. Then get the body restored I figure it's cheaper to buy one and ship it here.

I was also leaning more towards a Vtech car.

The Guy goes by Crazy Canuck and I believe he resides in Canada, maybe give him a pm, he has posted in my build diary at some point if you want to trawl through and find him or use some form of search within TMF for crazycanuck

So Yes I have my Mini ZCar Project on the go here in Calgary Alberta…. S L O W going I might add….
My conversion is a K20a2 Acura RSX Type-S lump waiting to be dropped into my 1973 saloon.
(and yes I can here you Andy asking, “When you gona get this thing built?!?!?)… It’s coming, you can’t rush a good thing... =D

For all you’z here in Canada / USA that have questions or want to keep in contact thru their build’s I can be found here at TMF under ‘m1n1c00per’.

I'm not in Canada but in Central Oregon. I'm building a Monte Carlo Kit. I'm about a 10 hour drive if you want to come down and check it out your more than welcome. We also have an airport (Roberts Field, RDM) if you wanted to fly down.

And to add to the thread, and to your Question Felixy, I feel there are about 2-3 ZCar builds in Canada at the moment… As Chris was shipping a few Kits this way when I was talking to him last year… I’m not sure if they are Hyabusa, Honda, Volvo or other??

hey guys i want to put a honda motor in my mini and i was wondering how much these kits cost shipped to your door? the use z cars site is down and i bet shipping from the uk would be huge money. i looked at the price to ship a car from the uk and it was almos 3k from one company.

Type-R engine - $4,100 CAD
K-pro ECU - $900 CAD+-
Exhaust - $1,105 CAD
Total = $18,700 CAD +-

You have a Mini shell already? because that could run you $3,000 - $10,000 here in North America.

Then your gona need:
Rims & Rubber
Seats
Dash
Body kit
Ect............

dang!!! lol ya i already have a 74 mini that has a solid body with no rust but everything els need work. i payed 7000 for it because theres zore rust so i think i should get a cheaper car for my my z cars build because that alot of money and there no point cuting up my car when i can get a cheap one for 1/2 the price and cut that up. thnx for the info
