Just a thought while Im logged in,

What size fuel tanks are you guys using in the Minis with bike engines in ? Im looking at a 30L tank as a baseline. Smaller is easier to fit, but a 22L/5Gal tank doesnt appeal, ie fuelling every half hour

And where are your tanks living ?

They are actually quite economical if you keep the weight down, my R1 had a 20L tank to start with for road use, then i fitted a 12L tank for track use...

My engine runs a Rotrex supercharger, which at road pace I am not expecting to make a huge difference to the consumption. Roughly how many miles you getting from a tank, on a Sunday morning blat out ?

Thanks

I didnt use it on the road that much as it was ridiculously loud and quick!! I would have lost my licence!

It was doing around 40-45 mpg normal driving with a quick blast here and there

Thanks for that,

Well if yours did 40mpg, I reckon 30mpg+ should be acheivable with mine, which is good news.
