
Struggling To Insure A 17Year Old!

nephew ( age 17 just passed test )
just got a corsa insured for £1300 tpft
but it has a tracker fitted by insurance company and he can olny drive it from 6am till 11pm.

Try aviva, they are very hit and miss though, is it modified or standard?
I'm with aviva because footman James wouldn't quote me (I'm 19) and I got it for £1500 fully comp + I'll get no claims aswell

its a con, i reckon insurance should go either one of two ways.
1, they charge stupid money, but if you dont crash you get half back.
2, they charge like 600, but if you crash it doubles.
1. as an incentive to not crash, and be carefull
2. as a pentaly for crashing,
two would mean that other drivers wouldnt have to take the strain, of the odd few stupid people.

Exactly the same as me haha i'm 19 and they refused to insure me, i'm only TPFAT though, its £900 a year for a 1.3i
Try aviva, they are very hit and miss though, is it modified or standard?

instead of showing off, why don't you help everyone out and lists things likei got insured for 650 fully comp, agreed valve and ive been driving less than a year
is it your only car?
