Soory to hear this, People that do this sort of thing have no heart, and need castrating, then shooting. Did they get the keys to be able to steal it? It's suppose to be near impossible to steal a modern car with no keys...

one set fo keys is always in my pocket, the second one locked in the home safe.
so really messes my head up how they stole it, some forums saying that they lifted the car or similar, wouldnt that alert anyone passing by?
agree with you 100% , I am non violent person in every way, but those people deserve exactly what you said.
maybe one day we will have the law like in old west for horse thiefs...

I doubt it would alert anyone if one or two guys dressed in high vis jackets were lifting a car. They'd probably think it was a recovery company or similar.

I don't know but I expect someone on totalMINI might. Try posting on there too - http://www.totalmini.com/forum/

Good luck - I hope you get it back.

thank you all, on other forums , I read that some of the cars get found pretty quickly?
does anyyone heard anything on that subject. i guess part of our bad luck is that was stolen on christmass eve, so not many police officers out there, as well insurance will call us back on tuesday, mini offices closed till tuesday us well...
I keep thinking what else we can do.
I printed today around 150 leflets with all the details and drop them in the doors along the whole street and neighbour area, hoping that someone might seen something.
any help/advice what to expect from insurance would be more than welcomed. whats the time scale for claim settlement? what else I might do to help police track it down? any ideas anyone at all?
anyone who got his mini back?
thank you all.
when we replaced our old mini one d for countryman was really sad day- we had to becouse of the kids, cant believe its gonne. every now and then I go out and hope to see it parked on the stree.
nightmare.
