it's not a safty issue


the issue is that there isn't enough of the shell left to call it the same car

can anybody say that they have been for an IVA check yet. also how can they prove that you didnt fit the fibre front years ago before this rule came out. PS miniman 24 nice job on the flip front. did it all fit up ok to the old panels.

as most of us run 70's, 80's 90's or 2000 minis it would be hard for us to say the conversion was carried out before the rules came into being

most people with shell identity problems keep quiet and hope they don't get caught or sell the mini on quick and let it be someone elses problem

it's a lot of work to pass a BIVA test just for some missing inner wings or bulkhead box
