Any chance we could bring back the thing where you hover over the topic title and it shows most of / all of the first post like the old forum used to? was a nice feature which has been lost in the transfer

Also, is the PM system working correctly? had a few people ask me why i havent replied, when i havent even recieved anything

Hover a topic, click the down arrow next to where it tells you how many replies and views the topic has.

I've been getting PM's all day and no one else has mentioned anything.

[*]The warn system is getting upgraded. Currently, the system adds warns one at a time until you reach three "warn points", then you will be permanently banned. In 2012, we will allow more warns before a ban (currently proposing 5 instead of 3), we will also set warnings to be automatically recinded one-by-one. If you have 3 months of normal posting with no trouble, your warns will be reduced automatically.
[*]We will be adding a detailed appeals procedure into the forum rules. If you feel that a warning (or any other disciplinary action) has been carried out unfairly, you will have the right to appeal and involve someone else in that appeal as a mediator.

Well, the rules still state that we still have 3 warning levels.

Also, I felt that a warning, 24 hr posting ban, (along with the rest of my account being unfairly disabled when i tried to voice my opinion) had been carried out on me, unfairly last night, and couldn't find this "detailed appeals procedure" in the forums rules.

It seems I didn't see this at the time.

I have to say, I think this is a decent place and the original guys that set it up should be commended for doing a great job. But things change and people move on.

I never seem to be around when the 'fun' stuff happens, which is annoying! I don't think there have been any real problems on here. If there have, I'm oblivious.

As for the new Admin team, I'm sure they will continue to make this a decent place to come and chat. It's a better place than facebook - all I see there is pish about people being in a bad mood or opening a bottle of win
