Which wax is the best to use?

Hammerite Top Coat. Anyone Done This?

just get a 2k jet black . mix it up use a small foam roller . away you go . do a thick ish coat . block it back . polish it up and it will look mint

I would recommend collinite 476 wax. hard wearing (1 coat lasted me about 10 months) leaves a good shine. great wax for the money

Ahh ok thanks for that. So can you put polish ontop of the wax then or does it just stay shiny with a bit of buffing now and again?

Erm Yes,
My dad painted his mini with Hammerite back in the 70's.
I did the same to mine, works fine looks OK but when i came to restore it. It is a pain in the back side to prep and paint esp if you are using cellulose paint as it reacts with it. Even the smallest bit LOL.
All good fun ... lol

the polish goes on first then the wax on after.
you shouldn't really need to do anything for near 10 months give or take depending on conditions until the wax wears off. should hold its shine nicley.
