If you want to know about harnesses then search the site. You are looking for a thread called something like 'bringing back an old thread' or similar from a couple of weeks ago in the technical section (use the serch bar). It goes into the legality of harnesses in road cars at some length.

You must quote all alterations from standard spec to an insurer, trust me most of them hate rollcages.
