Hi Phil, been a long time, have you got it on the road yet? Did you sort the megasquirt? I am after something a little more sensible really as that things a beast (but i may be tempted if nothing else turns up soon).
I have refurbed the oselli rocker had one of the breathers welded up and painted black crackle paint it looks superb although it ended up costing me £130 altogether which is a lot for a rocker really (bloody minis). I should have my mk1 back from Southam in around 4 weeks if you want to have a nose and a cuppa i am really happy with it but it is now to good to drive.
We are going to arrange to take part in the London to Brighton run hopefully this year 5 minis from Walsall unless you want to make it six?
Kind regards Steve

No, it's not on the road yet, I'm just in the process of steeling the engine and putting it into my Auto Sprite, I intend to fit a tuned 1000cc lump I have lying around into it, I'll deffo have that free cuppa though, lol
I'll have a think about the L-B run, If I do come, I could muster a few more guys to join in aswell, that's if you don't mind!!!!
Phil

1430's deffo going in the Sprite mate, lol. I can't wait to get it in now, though it does need a few things sorting out with it first, the split Webbers and hairy camshaft are coming off of it, I'm going to try a HIF44 carb and a 286 kent cam instead.
I'll put the L-B on the Sutton club site to see if we get any takers! When is it?

Its the 20th May i think but you need to get an application form from miniworld mag for March which hits the shops the end of January, if you look on the events and meetings theres plenty of info on the L2B thread and a link to the website with photo's from last year. We haven't been before but looks good, regards Steve

If you sell the mk3 cooper s then that makes your user name redundant, which then give me free reign to change it something more "appropriate"??
(Not that I'm trying to put you off selling it that is)
