Hi, I'm interested in this mini, however the seller won't let me view it which is putting me off a bit. He says there are two places that need welding but it could be more... I really wanted a rough valuation as I might break it for parts. His description isn't helpful either so I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Thanks, Ollie.

If he won't let you view it mate then something has to be wrong, I would steer clear.
I would say around 300-400 from what I can see?

Sounds like a heap of trouble there mate. I got stung like this on my old project the guy said it had hardly any work to do on it and was driven about a week before he sold it to me. Car turned up and it hadnt been run for donkeys! everything was seized up on it and bodywork was crumbling literally. Just money pits unfortunately...AVOID!

By the look of the roof gutter it's not a mk3 either. Walk away.

But would it not be worth £400 if I broke it for parts?

Not if the engine is scrap and the shell's been bodged to death, more trouble than it's worth.

If you can get it on your drive for less than £250 then go for it, if not then walk away
And don't pay him up front haha

I've tried to get the pictures a bit larger through word. Hope that helps a bit more.

I can't find any record of the number plate with my basic search. As I said, go in at 250 and see what he says, it all looks very odd and I would be very suspicious!
If you can't find a record of the plate then treat is as a car with no ID, and it looks rusted to high heaven. Probably worth leaving alone unless you get get it very cheap.
