Sorry to hear about your Mini. I've had to spend some of my Mig welder savings on a new fence :(

The local council have decided that it would be best to put all cardboard in a big orange recyling bag which should be put out with your bins.

Now as I cycle to work in this bloody weather everyday I'm aware of how stong the wind is and wedged this bag between our 2 bins to stop it from blowing away.

It would appear that no one else on the street thought the wind would be capable of blowing around a big plastic bag full of carboard, so now it looks like it's been raining cereal boxes and ready meals.

Sooooooo glad I replaced the garden fence last summer because I definitely wouldn't have one now!

That is damn lucky. At least none of you were outside at the side of the time.

Over the last three years, I always seem to be in Germany when the freak weather hits the UK. I love freak weather as well. I remember when I was about 13 or 14 and a hurricane hit Selsey - I stood up on the wall next to where the beach was to get a picture of the huge waves further down, and nearly fell off. Pretty stupid really with the water all the way in, but freak weather and mother nature are spectacular.

At least no one has been seriously hurt. Let's hoep it stays that way.

Damn! Was it just parked up at the time James?

My friend just posted this photo he took to Facebook, happened in our town this morning. The occupant survived and was apparently okay thankfully.

Who ever guessed there were so many evil trees in the world? O_O I had no idea.

I had to double back when Matilda refused to hurdle over a tree trunk on the commute this morning.

The main A road had shut because one of the bus shelters had decided it wanted to sit on the other side of the carriageway for a change.

Stay safe, peoples. Watch out for those 'inanimate' objects.
