I've also noticed more Flame Reds and Racing Greens than the Check Mate or the Sky and Rose.

If it's now written off, its already devalued it to start with. Plus you can't realy use the number of other similar for sale as a means to increase it's value. If you think yours is rare, try finding another 84 Areg 25 up for salei was looking into my car today, it has been written off and was trying to work out the value of it so i can get more back from my insurance. it turns out there is only 370 licensed flame racings left in the world like mine :)

The only way to get any sort of decent value from your insurance is to have an agreed value. Without you'd be lucky with any more than the book value of a few hundred quid.

Those are very nice seats. I would like some old style seats without headrests for my car too, but I can't where I'm from. This is my flame red from japan.

Originally the Flame and Racing were released prior to the Mini 30, after the success of the Mini 30 the Racing Green, Flame Red were re-launched and the Checkmate added with an updated specification, including a 3.4 final drive instead of the original 3.1, alloy wheels and various trim changes.

As said its nothing special, I looked into it as my flame red has racing flame on the log book. It's basically a mess up by the dvla they registered them wrong.
I think you will find the DVLA just accept whatever the new car selling dealer writes on the original application for a V5 registration document, hence why the 'How many Left' website can be inaccurate as many 'special editions' were simply registered with the same description as any other 'regular' Mini under the vehicle make/model description.
