Not done much to Ratty , just been sorting the boot lid
repairs and mods.

not looking too bad.
done one of the rear pillars aswell

Got to start doing some serious work on it!!
next major job is to sort out the solenoid boot
locking mechanism so I can loose the boot lever.

found a hole in the roof,!
cut out the rot

made a patch then welded it in


decided to blank off the old gutter drain hole

welded and dressed off

going to move the drain hole further round the back.
also done more work on the o/s quarter and boot lid.

the doors ready for re-skinning, then had to turn Ratty round to put him
back in front end first, this will make it easier when fitting the engine.
took a couple of pics of the rear end with the boot in place..

Lookin good! I'm sure you know, but you should remove the filler around where you welded up the gutter, as the heat would have burnt it away underneath and after a while it'll bubble.

ground out some of the filler i applied, you've got me a bit paranoid
so i'll have to go out and double check
