ide love to get the mot and start driving it around now but ile never get the jobs done haha

right havent done alot today plan was to get all the glass in but not going to risk it on my own. anyway got the rear side glass fitted in took about 20 mins and then i had nothing else to do. here is some pictures and the garage is getting cramped now minis and bits everywhere.

well this morning done a thew hours with jez we got the front glass in and the rear glass and jez booked my m.o.t in 2 weeks time. cant wait






also i tryed fitting the window whipers and they dont have any splines inside them so when i push them on it just spins in the holesso they dont move at all any advise what to do? or is there something missing? thanks tom

i havent mate basically there is no splines in it its just round? i did get it out of one of those sets you buy from shows?

Sounds like you need new wiper boxes, I had to buy one the other day as I had the same problem

Just buy new arms, they arnt that expensive.
Im still curious as to why it has no internal splines, is there a screw on it ?

the actual ones coming out of the scuttle has the splines on. but my new wiper arms where you push it on there is no splines inside so it bites together.nope theres no screw on top. ile just buy some new ones saves the hassle. cheers tom

hi little update i have got roof rack timbers fitted for good rear view mirror fitted in boot liner kit fitted with spare wheel changed wheels as i do prefer these plus the tyres are alot better for the traveling other ones was for more track racing. can anyone tell me if i need the bag with the jack and wheel brace for the m.o.t? and is there anything else that i need to double check on? thanks for looking tom.
