Most rolling roads are "Mini Friendly". Just google "rolling Road" and the first part of your postcode.

Best place not to far from you is Peter Baldwin. He is just north of Royston at Wilsher's Garage, Arrington. Top quality work, great bloke and he knows Minis because he's been winning races in them for almost 50 years.

Rob you need to find an old school RR. Most of them these days will be ecu based.
I am fortunate that mbe that built my mini have access to the RR next door to them. Weber's and dizzys all the way for them.

I would go with Coopermans advice if you can get to there.
You couldn't beat a mini specialist for experience hence why i stick with mbe for mine.

reccomend baldwin. cheap ( relatively), accurate and you wont meet a better bloke. also i think he has his miglia mini there, stashed away right next to where the mini would be R + R ed. looks cool.

I'm told they are excellent, but a long way from St. Albans, where the OP lives (and, incidentally, where I was born and went to school).

slark looks like a fairly interesting place but its a fair old poke from where i am. i recon i'll take a look at Peter Baldwin's place as its literally a straight road from my house. oh and i think the relaxed grip is down to the driving gloves ;D

I have used Peter Baldwin and Hunter's Garage. These are the two closest to here who know Minis well.
Both gave a good tune, but Peter Baldwin will do it in an hour or two, Hunter's took like a week, fitting it around other jobs.
(I live in Harpenden by the way  )
