i will be having my Flitch panels replaced next week and i have been advised to change my A panels as rust is coming through from around the door hinges

so i started thinking, as my flitches have both gone and both the a panels have gone is it possible that i will need

You may do but until the A panels are off and everything cleaned back to bare metal you won't truly know.

You can see most of the A post anyway which should give you an indication of anything lurking.
