or worst case scenario would be a hole in the floor.
try getting the carpets up and have a good look around for any signs.
is it the first time its done it aswell? if so could be nothing major as such, but check to see if it keeps reoccuring.

I havent seen a mini yet that doent leak , just drill a hole in the floor to let the water out faster
lol true!
well when i bought it back in november it was full of water this is the first time its been out in the rain in a while
i've got the carpet out and well i dont think its a hole in the floor because the water got in during the night.
the door looks alrite ill have another look tomorrow.

use a hose pipe and get someone to sit in the mini while you squirt water over it

Look at the pedal box that leaks on mine, and check all the gromits on the bulkhead are there, mine is missing one and has a nice line of surface rust from it , also look at the back of your wheel arch, up inside, on one of mine i had a tiny hole there and it came in by the bucket load there...
btu as people have said, look at window and door seals, thats the obvious one

My mini didn't have hardly any plastic sheet behind the door card left, but when we covered the holes, the car stopped leaking!

The above comment was meant a bit tounge in cheek
It is almost true
One mini i had let in so much water i gave up , removed all the carpets and drilled drain holes (the carpets just soaked up the water like a sponge so the mini never dried out)
