Just to clear this up,

The date of liability is when the SORN needs to be reapplied.

When a vehicle is taxed the Vehicle Status reads Licence Not Due.

I have to say that the concept of a mother that is happy to discuss the term "MILF" with their son, disturbs me slightly!!

Hi Guys, our approach has been very different to that of the morris marinas owners club, we have not directly slagged off top gear - my mentality is no one would have seen it to be offended if we didnt like the program. It was me who set up the bringhomewilf campaign - the idea is if we can get him back to auction the car off at the l2b 2012 after a full resto. the car would be restored by various people in the mini community as a community led project. once auctioned proceeds would be donated to charity. we are not being viewed as negative and i have actually had comments pertaining to how the community drive on this project has inspired people to become part of the mini scene. It shows we have a sense of humour, pride in the marque we all love, and a community that is so diverse and friendly we can all club together to do something amazing - even against high adversity. im proud of being a mini owner and proud that mini owners never leave a mini behind :)
Thanks for talking about it - it all helps towards the campaign.

This does bring up an interesting point, what happens to the DVLA status now they are dropping the requirement to renew SORN annually
