Hi All,

Looking for a bit of advice on my first Mini purchase.

Come the end of March I should have a budget of about £1200 - £1500 to invest in a little beast :w00t:

Over the past few months I have been checking AutoTrader on quite a regular basis to see what comes up for this price range and something caught my eye this week, its a 1994 Sprite with a 1275 in it. The bodywork looks like its in good nick but its got 101,000 miles on the clock ! Apparently its been regularly serviced. Even so, isnt this getting near the time when a rebuild will be required ?

I think my question is more, should I go for something a bit older that has less miles but needs attention to the bodywork or should I get something newer like the above where its more mechanical issues ?

Any suggestions for what I should be looking for in this price bracket ?
