From Minimail as featured in the latest Mini Magazine:

Mk3 onwards Bootlid conversion panel to Mk1 style (MS19K)
This panel gives all you need to convert a late bootlid to Mk1/2 style. Needs to be welded in (Bootlid shown for reference - not included)

i tryed to buy this but got confuzed with their payment methods. Got a spare bootlid waiting for it!

hi, i've not fitted one of these but for £15 got to be worth a go, especially considering a used tatty genuine mk2 boot lid went for £128 on e-bay

That's great for restoring a genuine Mk.1 as a replacement boot lid can now be made from a late lid saving a lot of cash.

Ive got one of these panels if someone want to give me £15 collected from Walsall as i bought a heritage mk1 boot which i must say wasn't great.

Not quite right. The number plate recess is slightly narrower on a Mk1

That tatty mk2 boot lid was perfectly fine, well worth the money they paid me :D

Bloody great idea this, anyone dealt with minimail before? i see you have to print off a quote and post it to them with a cheque in or whatever, but what about postage? is that included?

you will need to be a good welder to fit that panel....................rather fork out for a desent mk1 lid...........
