Il'l be there with my green doors and white/black car. First track day for me, hope they limit the amount of cars on the track at a time otherwise it could get pretty crowded.

Went to Lydden hill today, on the way "minispaniard" had problems with his car and had to get recovered but me and Tony Wells carried on, got there and it was quite dry. Looked promising, until about 11am when a big cloud decided to deposit its load. Me and tony signed on at 10:50am for the track and was told there was a session at 11, i shot back to my car, emptied it and headed down to the gate to find they had already let everyone on. I checked the time and it was 11 on the dot.
The rain passed and the track started to dry out, but then again just before the next novice session at 12am, it rained again. In-between novice sessions were intermediate and also some drift and race demos from the rallycross swifts. Bill Richards was also taking people around the track in his twin Cam mini.
It got to about 1 and the heavens opened, the track had a massive puddle running across the track at the bottom of the hill and it didnt look like it was drying out anytime soon.
At 2pm we decided it wasnt worth staying and went to get a refund on our un-used track time. No refunds were given, but a FREE session at the next track day which is on Aug 4th (same w/end as southern mini days) Technically this isnt free as we had already payed but not used our track time so all were doing is buying track time in advanced. Doesn't look like im going to make it to the next track day... Thats £20 down the drain.
I managed to get some photos of the day before it chucked it down which can be found at the link below. Ive set the album as public so anyone can view them.
