and dont really understand the roof question as im not that up on accessories for the new mini, mums got a new cooper s but its completely standard (although i want to lower it)

The first generation (R50) mini only had a front opening sunroof the second gen (R56) had a double opening sunroof where both could be tilted open (but only the front one fully opens)

I know I'm a few years older now, but for example the insurance for my partner and I is a fair bit cheaper on our Saab 9000 2.0T than on my Vauxhall Viva 1.3, despite having nearly 4x the power.
Always worth trying Footman James for classics as their rules seem to change depending on who you talk to. I don't think they insure modern cars for under 25's though, but again that's only what I've been told.
