Blues Brothers

Gets my vote  for best 80s car chase
Ronin or Taxi ( the original French film) best out of the 90s films

Any of the many chase scenes involving "The last of the V8 interceptors" from the Mad Max films....

..... but then the chase films involving the original V8 pursuit & inteceptor cars were pretty cool too..... If real Police cars looked like that then I'd have to join the force!!!

In no particular order

Mad Max

Gone In 60 Seconds (original version). The chase scene lasts for over 30 minutes

Ronin

French Connection
Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry
Taxi (original French version, not the Queen Latifa version)

and the short film Rendezvous

sorry but that has to be one of the worst, most over rated car films ever!! it's just someone driving round paris, watch it without the sound and you'll see what i mean ;-)

Can't believe no one has mentioned Smokey and the Bandit or is everyone too young to remember it.
No Mans Land staring charley sheen as a porche 911 thief.
Cobra, that ends with a totaled Mercury
Executive Target, nice early 2nd gen camaro chase scene
