Hi, just read the whole thred. I love it!
Can you show more detail on how you use a chisel to form the floorpan?
How do you back it up to to get it to make the foot well, pocket, what ever it's called.

Also on the independint suspension, Can you add some dimensions to your drawing?
I have some ideas on how to make it way less than 8lb.

I used a brick chisel to knock in the groves on the floor, and for the footwells I used a body hammer and bashed the hell out of it to get the shape, then used a smaller chisel to sharpen the edges, I would show u how I did the groves but I have no sheet metal lol

As for the suspension, I'm going for a solid axle at the rear now, only the front will have suspension, for this ill be making wishbone type set up and using the shocks I was kindly donated!

When I get some sheet, I'll put up a "how I did it" guide in case anyone wants to do the same

Lewis, get down to Ladwa around the corner from me. I only paid £5-10 (I think) for the junker's tin. They've plenty of off-cuts.

I would lee, but I ain't got time due to workin all the time to go all that way for a sheet of metal lol unless u wouldn't mind grabbin me some (ill pay for it) n I could come pick it up from u after I finish work? Would be a big help n gets the ball rolling again on the build

Would be a massive help mate! Sort of about the same size u got for the junker? As I need a fair amount (in case I mess any panel up and need to redo it)
