I think my battery is on it's way out, so I'm gonna start looking for a new one, but was wondering if a larger battery could be put in to the battery tray in the boot?? If so, what is the biggest and what are the dimensions of the battery tray??

Cheers!

Chris

The battery I've got in at the moment is a Halfords one and it's not very good..... the previous owner said it was only a few months old when we bought the Mini 2 months ago.

So if I google search '075 car battery' it should show me what I need yeah??

Cheers for all the help guys!

I just bought a 063 from euro car parts in strood industrial estate fits really easily. puts out 47ah and has a cold crank of 440. only cost me £50 and some change. Car starts instantly with this installed. its an exide premium. they do have one for like £40 which puts out about 40ah and 360 but this is pretty close to a standard mini battery.

Cheers Chris..... I was gonna give the guy a call at Kent Batteries in Rainham as he did us a really good deal on the battery for our Astra not long ago.

So with the 075 having a 60ah and a cold crank of 610, that's pretty good huh?

So long as it's somewhere between £40-£60 I'll be happy.
