Hi
Has anyone got a picture of how the pad retaining clips fit on the rear brakes. There are also a couple of metal angle pieces? - of course assuming I have the right fitting kit.

A picture might give us a better understanding of your problem.
Are they special calipers on the back of it? Or are they off another vehicle? If the latter is correct you should be able to find a guide to changing the pads. (Sorry dont know much about Z cars only trying to help)

They are the standard ones used in the z cars kit which I think are the same as fitted to clio williams and saxos.
