hi all , well there seems to be alot of good pictures on here and i know a few are going to have high end cameras , but was wondering if anybody knows of any half decent cameras around that price?

Canon 400D DSLR. Costs around 250 quid and is a good camera :)

Honestly I'd save up and get a better one. You'll regret buying a cheap one.

I bought a 300D second hand, but bought a few lenses. It really does depend on what kind of shots you're planning on taking. Are you going to be taking a lot of photos in manual modes, long exposures, bracket photos for HDR, or is it more a "point and shoot", auto-focus with a bit of a zoom lens you want?
Now I've got back into taking photos after years of only using point and shoot digitals (and normally phones to be honest) I'm ditching the 300D and keeping the semi-decent lenses I've got to get a 50D I think.
