Garage rates are from about £40 per hour... so...

Top arm - Would say about 3 to 4 hours to remove, rebuild and refit. - Can be a right pain to do...
Parts about £20 depending on where they are getting them from... if not local then there will be postage costs on top...

Job 2 - Would only suggest about an hour for this...
Parts around 10, will need oil too as oil needs to be drained...

Job 3 - Again oil needs to be out of the sump when doing this so needs doing at the same time as job 2.
1/2Hour...

Job 4 - Sounds about right (including parts)

Job 5 - perhaps a little expensive as the battery cable can be secured when doing job 4.

Job 6 - Stage 1 Fitting... bit pricey... but again its a few hours work...

So not *very* expensive as some would lead you to believe... perhaps a little expensive.

A lot of people forget that running a garage costs money... equipment, rates, rent, tools, insurance, etc.
The VAT goes to the government and not the garage too...

Well I havn't ruled the garage out cause I liked the chap bt I am gonna give a few of them a go myself at least first. I'm more concerned bout the next phase cause my doors Dnt fit properly and my boot has been fitted wrong. And I hav rust in my sills so nt sure yet if going to hav to replace them. Be good to find out if anyone else has used them before.
