Hi, right so I want to get my mini looking a bit more rally styled so was just wondering what you guys would suggest to achieve this?
Here's a few pictures so you get the idea of what I'm working with, I have spotlights and another bonnet strap still to be fitted but more suggestions and opinions would be great!

i think Spots, Sump guard and Door squares or circles straight away make it looks 'rally' if you want to go all out bucket seats, roll cage and roof rack all look cool but then costs start to creep up, you could pick up door squares, some spots and a sump guard all for under £100, where as buckets your looking at least £200, roll cage a coupe £100 and thats for the low spec ones.

maybe consider a number plate on the bonnet BUT be warned i am under the impression they are not 100% legal although if it looks like it should be like that its unlikley the police will question it

the cheapest mods you can do first is get some door number squares and a bonnet sticker number plate then little things like rally stickers that say toe etc an thne at some point you want 2 buy a mk1 grill :P

With the stick-on plates, if you remove the bonnet badge and fit the plate across the bonnet so that the bottom of it is touching the chrome bonnet lip it will be virtually vertical. Then all you need is the name and post code of the supplier along the bottom and it's virtually legal.
I've never had any problems with the one on my red 'S' (above) and that's been on there since 1994. The black background is sprayed on, as are the white door squares. The white 'Fablon' can be very difficult to apply.
