I saw in one of the mini magazine issue's that some one mounted tweeters in the actual eyeball vents. was kind a cool looking, and you'd be able to direct them in any direction.

I've always wanted to try it out after seeing that. Brilliant idea!

I have 4" ones mounted on the rear of the dash and have remodelled the air-vents to fit grills so the speakers are discrete

How do they sound? Also you got any pics of fitting them? Do they interfere with the mounts on the dash?

unfortunately no pix of fitting them, basically just screwed the speakers to the back of the dash after putting the modified air vents back in, i basically cut away most of the air vent so i was left with the thread and bit behind it to catch the board, cut some of the front away too to fit the mesh over.
