A '67 could be either, you have to know the difference. The rear lights are a big giveaway.

Like Dan said, a 67 could be either as the Mk2 Mini was introduced in October '67

Mk1 has moustace grille and corner bumpers. Also the bonnet badge is different.
Posted Image

Mk2 has no corner bars and squared off grille
Posted Image

Mk1 has small rear lights and smaller rear window
Posted Image

Mk2 has squared rear lights, larger rear window and updated badges including MkII script and engine size on bootlid.

The Mk1 has a floor starter button, the Mk2 has a key switch starter, it also has better seats.

Just to confuse the issue,1967 was the year that the new reg letter was moved from Jan1 to Aug1,always odd that the italian job minis were mk1 but G reg.

They were old unreigstered dealer stock, not uncommon.

Mk2's are ace, V rare really as they were only made for 3 or 4 years
