Screecing noise from right side of engine???

I have a new 1380 built engine its been fine for the first hour of running in then started making a horrible squeaking noise and gets faster with the revs ;D ??? Anyone have any idears???

you say its from the right side of the engine? Is that nearside or offside?

If its near side then check the fan belt tension, alternator bearings and water pump bearings, make sure the fan isn't catching on the radiator cowling or the radiator fins.

If its the offside then its possible that the clutch release bearing is somehow stuck onto the flywheel and squealing, or it could be something more sinister and serious inside.

Does it do it when stationary and when moving?

Is this from Rad side, if so, check the pulley bolt has not undone itself and is caught between the pulley and the rad bracket...

Yes rad side but took off the fan belt and still doin it?? when i had the head rebuilt one of the valvs was bent and the valve guide was cracked so got them replaced, i dont thinks its from the bore because its not that faster squeak? could it be anything to do with fule? or oil not gettin somewhere?? i think it sound from a valve but still not shore???

have you checked the bottom pulley is not catching on the timing gear housing, have you got the right pulley on?? ;D
