Hi all (1st post...very exciting!!),

I've just got my engine back from Morspeed (all nice and shiny!) and want to mount it to the subframe. The engine mount on the radiator side is no problem, but the screws I ordered (from Moss) to secure the mount to the bell housing seem to be too big. There 5/16" UNC. The engine is a 1275 from a Metro by the way.

What size screws do I need to get?
Thanks in advance...

P.S. When the engines mounted I'll take a few pics and start a project section!

5/16 UNC sounds right to me. Maybe the Metros had metric threads, seems unlikely though. Have you not got the old bolts to compare with the new?

That is the correct size.

Cheers - I'll just have to pursuade them into the housing ;D

Wil_h :Dont have the old ones as I'm building the mini almost from scratch (shakes his head and wonders if he's bitten off more than he can chew!)
