Sounds and looks like one of the better Malvern shows?

I wish I'd have made it now, when I got home I nearly got Stinky out and came back, kinda wish I did now!!

i dont know if i should be insulted or not that so many people thought it was that car for £600! ok i know the seats are odd, but you cant really fault it other than that, oh and it had the spare alloy on thats silver not grey.

mind you i bought a mini from gaydon last year for, well lets say very little, and i had to check it was the car the sign was actually in as i couldnt believe it! so i guess mega bargains do crop up.

thats my blue one on the extreme left there (the one everyone seemed to think was the one i was offering for £600!)
and my dads 73 that picked up second in the 70s class is the green one a few cars across.

haha....i saw the for sale sign and it was blatantly obvious that it wasn't the blue car for sale..................it did say "V" reg mini for sale........the blue one is obviously an "M" reg.......some people are sooooo thick!!

i thought it was pretty obvious too, but some people were still kicking the tyres on it. i saw one guy on the floor hammering at the sills with his fist, i went over and asked of he had fallen over! lol

another guy asked me if i would take 600 for it on the day, i told him the brakes are worth more than that, then pointed out it wasnt that car!

hahaha.....if i had the slightest thought that it was the blue car for £600 then i would have gone straight to the bank and got the money........and i certainly wouldn't have been doing any sill hammering.......like i say...some people are really stupid.
i had (yet another) person comment on our cars "leather roof"...........i really give up..........

I think it was one of the better malvern shows but have to agree the chap on the pa was a right tool, nice pics people!

Enjoyed the show - the weather helped.
Got most of what I needed b ut not too many bargains about,

Saw very few TMF'ers although I did come and see the stand.

Paul - I followed that red mk3 next to yours off the M5, In fact he chopped me at the island trying to keep up with his mates - was he a young/novice driver?

Great show i thought, Im glad we got in free with our passes though as these shows plus fuel are killing me!!! Thanks to the guy who handed them to me! not sure who it was. Nice to see a few of you and put names to faces, Dan, Charlotte nice to chat with you and see your mini in the flesh, its a great bit of kit,very tidy and look forward to seeing it in the mag. I entered into the 1990s section but got no chance of winning with something modifed

Also to everyone who noticed, i now have to fresh tyres to go on the front after my front left was completly eaten!

What a glorious day in the sun! It was so nice to be there with friends and to see some great minis.

I can see that if it had decided to rain it would of ruined the whole day though... risky with the British Weather....

As for the PA man, he certainly took a shine to me and Luna! (shame the judges didn't though!)

was the first show for the cooper post rebuild and glad to say the new engine behaved itself , came runner up in the modified section,well done to ben for winning.I still prefer the old "indoor" format,as the two malvern mini shows are both at typically bad times of the year from a weather point of view.
however some very nice metal on display
