dont know if this helps but I thought the level of fuel in the float chamber had to be about level with the jet- in this case it is not, but like I had said the needle can not be raised any more- unless you have some suggestions?


Nope 'because then the jet would overflow into the jet bearing when the choke is used.

Are you still using that 1/4" fuel line? I really am sure it should be 5/16".

The dodgy jet feed sounds like a good thing to investigate.
