[b] hello all. if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. looking to buy a mini. could anyone give me any info on what to look out for when buying, bad things, likely to go wrong, re-occuring problems etc.? thanks.

Hey, welcome to TMF. Just remember if there is something wrong with ure mini when u buy 1....there`s plenty of help on here and u neva know but there might be sum1 close to u who can help out personally!!

thanks. so far i havent come across anyone in southend.
its an 88 mayfair. 998cc. not too many mods, RC40 exhaust, cobra buckets, 10" Revolites.
Basically what i was looking for. i know there was a post ages ago but did anyone come to the conclusion of the best insurer for young mini drivers?
