Yeah its a good set to be honest. Was a shortage of them over the last 12months but i understand that they are in stock now - its the ST set thats gone out of stock!!
Its slightly different to the ST set - ratios, number of gears supplied and bearings needed (the ST set need an additional bearing) - its about 80 quid cheaper though...
Clubman set uses your exisiting 1st and reverse gears - ST is all new.
Ratio wise your looking at:
Clubman !*! ST
2.583 !*! 2.544
1.711 !*! 1.731
1.25 !*! 1.258
1 !*! 1
so its marginally better behaved in 1st gear
Built both ST and Clubman boxes up with no complaints for the guys using them...
HTH,
Dave

yup my clubman SC box is a genuine hand built icklemini special... lol
definately no complaints over here...
If you can get the cash together for one then go for it, it makes a hell of a difference. For a good service and quality job then daves your man aswell

Never used the Clubmans, but they do come highly recommended... I was in contact with Minispares erlier in the year, about supply of gearsets and the sell almost 10 Clubman set every Full set so that shows their popularity.. but then again that may be the price which is a compensating factor...
