No you don't, they're an old set of S210 Michelin slicks that I hand cut a tread in.

They're ok for the price & there's no reason it can't be turbocharged. If you can afford it the SC 7 port is superior. Forget the two Webers, the whole advantage of going seven port is the ease of fuel injection.


Just my two cents; These heads are brilliant for multi-port injection. This is a test engine at the local university where students try their hand at engine control systems.

I have been building a 7 port turbo, i have had to stop working on it as i have moved and we have had a baby so hopefully service will resume shortly, if i was to do it again i would use the sc head it has injector pockets built in and making a plenum with injector pockets has been a pita and quite expensive i think if your using forced induction then the sc head will in the long run be cheaper.

They are nice and long, but that's not going to fit in a mini, not even a clubman.
