Im just on my phone at moment and don't have any pics to hand but I've got some leather momo seats in mine from an alfa gtv. Fit very well, don't catch anywhere and much cheaper than getting old seats covered in vinyl. I paid 150 for mine including the rears. Ill post a pic when i can.

how did you fit them?

There we go, managed to take a pic today. Ive put some plate where the origanal front seat triangles go for extra strength and a friend made a steel box at the back to bolt through the floor and make them sit square. You need 4 little steel boxes all together to sit at the back of each corner. and 4 plates at the front, again 1 for each corner. Im chuffed to bits with them, really comfy and much easier to move back and forward rather than the lift up mechanism on my old ones which always caught the headlining.

They look nice, did they take long to fit?
Does anyone have any opinions on carpets/soudproofing. As this will probably be my first task. :)

Is it best just to buy dashboards from a reputable company?

There are quite a few after market dashboard suppliers out there, I've heard a few good reports about a TMF member here http://www.theminifo...817-chrisgonz1/who makes after market high quality dashboards at very competitive prices http://www.classicmi...hboards.i8.com/

I have a very different opinion of "Custom Consoles" to "Wakey-Dan" though. Personally I've found their products to be well made, good quality and that they fit well too. Their customer service is also excellent and I would recommend them to anyone. http://www.custom-co...dashboards.html

Take a look at some of the many threads here for Miniteriors of Leicester, (also trades under various names on Ebay), that's a very different story though. >_<

Thanks, that gives me more options to look at! :)
I think it's amazing the differing opinions of some people, I will have to see what's best. It will be a while, but I can't wait!

..and hopefully buying this tomorrow! http://www.minispare...ty=pb&pid=36626

Get TMF+ and you can get monies off on minispares! :D

Is this the same stuff you shove behind radiators to reflect the heat back?

"radiator reflector foil"?

Williamwalters - nope, just the USA :( But, shipping and the actual stuff comes to around 42 quid, which is a bargain in my eyes :D

Bluesprite - no idea hahaha

Black lacquered dash, and soon to be black lacquered centre console. I think it'll look lovely when I'm done.
Posted Image

The key is to not try and do it all at once, take your time, save money to get the best, worth it in the long run!

(looks a little bit rough tho with the flash on lol )

Loving the look of the dash, thats the sort of thing I am aiming for(eventually)!
like you said, It can all be done over time, so I'm in no rush.
I think being on small budget means the seats will have to wait for a while... :( But I like those recaros! How much room do they leave when tilted forward, enough to get in the back?

Getting in the back is a little tricky but still possible, just no fatties! as long as you put the seats forward then use the forward recline thing then you can get in the back.

This is my custom consoles dash, it's also a custom consoles centre console too, but I've since removed that as it wasn't really a very good colour match to the dash.

I can see the non-matching colours, that's never good. But overall it looks pretty tidy?
