i made the mistake of buying a cheap cd player. and i know i should really buy a better one but im poor so is there anyway i can stop it skipping?? it only skips on bumps but i mean it skips on even the little'est bump. so i was thinking as it is mounted under the passenger side of the dash could i just mount it with sponge or something to take the shock away???? any ideas anyone???

SNAP ! ive just thrown in a cheapo cd player , mine skips like mad , as my mini is an auto , when i select drive when stationary it wont play at all
please someone help as it take 10 mins to play one track !
maybe a car wash sponge would work ? but maybe the unit will overheat ?
