I test drove a Mini with a tiny wheel once. For some reason I'm thinking 7" but that seems too small. Either way it was a fair bit smaller than the white one and it felt awful. 13 or 14" is my recommendation.

I've always found it hard to position the car accurately on any sort of bumpy road when using a very small wheel. 13" is the smallest I would feel comfortable with and for ease of driving and good steering load a 14" is excellent.

i have the mk1/2 big bus type with a leather wrap. i like the feel of the bigger wheel, but as an all round wheel i would go for a 13" one.

Mine's a 13" mountney. Nice size as it's smaller than standard, really helps the low speed manoeuvring I find..
