Is there a relationship there between electric super chargers and KERS.
There must be a way having one that works better than the ebay 5% extra hp corsa specials

Treat yourself to one of these and lay it in your engine bay. It would have about the same effect.
Reminds me of when my mate stuck a hair dryer on the air filter intake on his clubman 20 odd yrs ago. We're sure it went faster.

And I'm sure one day they will work, you don't expect to get any power for free, it will load the alternator more and cause a loss of power through that respect, but proper super/turbochargers use a stupid amount of energy to spool them up anyway!
I'm sure one day someone said "there's no way you could have an electric power steering pump as it would draw way too much current..." and now most new cars have them!

If it's powered by electricity then there wouldn't be any difference between an electric supercharger and an electric supercharger.

There also isn't any difference between snake oil and snake oil!
There would be no point in making an electric supercharger, as it would be very inefficient to convert the rotational movement of the engine to electricity and back to rotational movement when just turning the turbine with the engine would be significantly more energy efficient.
