We have used most postal and online services for movies now, plus Sky movies etc. my preference is for Lovefilm as the service is brilliantly fast and when you weigh up the costs, you can be watching movies everynight for less than 15 quid a month. we also use them for TV series and documentaries.
Mind you, we do have a Huge TV and also a home movie projector for those special movies. When we saw Avatar at the cinema, we went and bought it on DVD and actually enjoy it more at home as the Kettle is only 15 feet away

Well I have just been having a bit of a look around the options. I have ruled out Netflix, although the price is pretty good. I think Love Film is the option I'm going for - but does anyone know if you can register a separate address to get items posted to, other than the billing address? It says BFPO numbers are ok, but it doesn't indicate if that has to be your billing address as well?
The mildly annoying thing with Love Film is that you can't stream from overseas.

I bought this:
http://www.logitech....ers/devices/211
Got some leads & plugged it in to my telly - I now have surround sound on the DVD player, X-Box & Sky
Much, much cheaper than buying a home theatre system - And I think it's great! It's all we need in the front room! (But it's lucky the house is detached as it doesn't 'arf make a noise!
)
I prefer being at home watching a film - Can put a log fire on, curl up on the sofa and drink tea.
Unless - there's something that would be epic in 3D!

That was foreign to me, sorry!

IIRC, it's those red and white ended leads to the sub - then the little speakers plug in via a jack to that?
If you get me?
