Hi guys,

The clutch pedal is connected to the clutch master cylinder right....

...well, the bolt that you can see in the picture below the reservoir has snapped just above the bit where it connects to the pedal.

Can this bolt be replaced or are we looking at a new clutch master cylinder?

Cheers guys,

Oli

Probably best to replace the whole thing to be honest.

Not a hard job, just a pain in the ar$e due to the fiddley nature of the location of the clevis pin and split pin that attches the the pedal to the arm.

That's the one I meant!

GUess it's a new Master Cylinder then!! From what i've seen, it will be a big nightmare fitting it to the clutch pedal again!! :'(

I took off the slave cylinder the other day....for someone that is not experienced with cars....i'm learning a lot!....

...now just need to get the car working again and enjoy the actual driving!!! :w00t:

Thanks guys!!

On tip, when you refit the new one, instead of the split pin, use an R-clip with a bit of string attached to the end, will make it ALOT easier to remove in future.

DSN Classics (01953455551) do some R clips that fit.
