3M speedglass 9000 series recommended by my fella who is in the trade and uses it regularly and never had welding flash or anything. Get what you pay for!

that cheap gear is pants stuff, its delayed and sometimes forgets to darken correctly. It won't damage your eyesighty though.
More you pay the better you get as Amy-leigh said earlier

I have one of these Sealey Jobbies: http://www.amazon.co...46&sr=8-2-spell

I'm not sure if it was ever worth is supposed £200+ RRP, but for the £43.99 (including P&P) that you can get it from Amazon for, it's a pretty good buy & has good reviews too!!

Those ESAB masks are brilliant, I also use a 3M Speedglass that feels a little nicer to wear but could do with a little lighter filter.

Protect your eyes guys! I work in an Opticians and i will tell you something for nothing.....You can't buy a spare set of eyes like you can a mask! A man not so long ago told me he had burnt his retina from welding flash and he can now only see in one eye.

I had welding flash about 5 times. End up at a and e every time lol.
This was due to not having a mask, then forgetting I owned a mask, to I'm only doing a spot I don't need it oh I decided to do half hour of welding.

Nowadays I don't touch welder at all till mask is on it ain't worth it
