I brought the 2nd one down siflite, never had a problem with, occasionally they throw in a pair of welding gauntlets....Another thing well worth buying, makes you welds a lot neater because you can steady the nozzle closer to the action.

i had a cheap one for about 5 minitues... then decided to cut my losses and get a spedglass one! such a good mask well worth the money

Dont see why everyones saying the cheap ones are pants been welding for nearly 2 months now and havent a problem dimming is adjustable and works everytime.. guess its if you get a dodgy one out of the pack :lol:

mines a cheap one works ok. mates had a cheap one for years too.

depends what ur doing, hobby welding then cheap will mostly be ok, pro welder = pro gear.

If you try a decent mask you will see the difference. A porsche is still a 4 wheeled transport device, but far superior to a fiat

i agree with the above. i've used speediglas for years without a fault. my work supplies sealey ones, i refuse to use them, compared to mine they are so slow to react

well let me tell you... there is ONE HELLLA difference the spedglass is so much clearer, always reacts 100% of the time, and i had been welding under a car with the cheap one and a bit of weld spatter melted through the front of the mask onto my face... at this very moment i stopped welding and bought a decent mask!

far superior you get what you pay for!
