To help with any design choices, what is wrong with the current logo?

:highfive:

I don't see anything wrong with the current logo. Its modern, already applied to banners used by the forum, tip looks good and professional. I just hope we get a high quality of entries by the end of it so it doesn't become a worse logo

Unfortunately when the people over at www.totalmini.com ( place of worship for allegro shaped minis ) were designing their logo they came up with something all too familiar..... So I think a decision was made to see if it could be improved upon and made suitably different

Shame really as the current logo really does work very well.....

It isnt very often I get to use my professional background on here, I am a lecturer in marketing, advertising and branding, although my interest is mainly entrepreneurship. I would suggest that any logo is rebranded as "the mini forum.co.uk" and not just the "the mini forum" and i would not bother with "www"

I really wish I had time to dedicate to this. I do graphic design at uni. This is bread and butter stuff  But alas the proper work takes up my time.....

can you free hand draw your entry and scan it onto the computer rather than use computer software as i'm pretty good at this stuff ( A level product design student ) but i'm a bit "slow" with computer software
