there was someone on here did the megaspark but i think he could also get the megasquirt, do you mean entire setup (loom and maps)? if so i think the cd they give you has predefined maps to get you running then you can tweak it to get best power from it.

What i need is the entire setup, i have the EDIS stuff (Well minus the crank sensor and plug for the module) but im after the megasquirt box with all the stuff required. So yes it would be loom and some maps.

maps come on the cd with the software,

as for the loom, you have to create it, you get connectors but thats it

check the for sale section. I'm sure some guy on there offers it and has used it in minis. I do't remember his name though, but I did catch a recent for sale he put on MF.

Alexf2003 can tell you everything you need! Also you going to be doing away with the Carb then? Or are you really after megajolt which is a mappable ignition system?

Megasquirt has alot more functions than megajolt (traction control systems etc). megajolt is an option though im trying to find a price comparison between each of them and benifits etc.

I think he means Launch control. But then there is also data logging, wide band oxygen sensors and so on and so on, all this aids setting up. There is also Dash display you can make up to give live information, temps, fuel ratio and the like. Going megasquirt from the start gives you the opertunity to go full injection at a later date without to much of a hardware change, Megajolt does not.

Down side is the extra cost for what is realy only going to be mainly used for ignition.

And available from here http://www.afracing....rojects/MS1.htm
