That's cool! I have quite a few models but the matchbox ones are my favorites!
The orange one you have with the orange sticker is that the original box and did it also come in the later box? I have seen one in the other box and wondered if it was original! I want them all eventually! I think i have done well on the three i have How much did you pay for each of yours if you don't mind me asking? Cheers again.Oh and by the way you have an amazing model collection!
The version with the orange sticker edge did come in both box types. Also both orange and red versions came in various bubble packs.
I got my Matchbox cars at toy auctions in batch lots of Matchbox Toys. I sold the others on Ebay and made enough money back to make a little profit and keep the Minis, so I got them for nothing in the end. That's how I have got most of my collection over the years.

Do you have many dinky/corgi minis?
There's a selection of my boxed Corgis and Dinkys on page 6 of this thread. I have more which I will be soring out soon. I've got loads of unboxed aswell, much cheaper than boxed ones. Most of my models are packed away at the momment, but will see the light of day soon when I have sold off my Ferrari F1 Collection.

Not a bad model with well placed livery.
I have also just dug out my small collection of Spanish Pilen models.
This is an early version with jewelled headlamps

and red plastic rear lenses

Later vesions had chrome headlamps and paint rear lenses. They also came with black box bases.

The last ones came in card boxes

The model comes in various colours and some have black roofs.
There are also a number of limited editions.

And if you are wondering why it has a GT badge and 1275 GT on the boot, it is modelled on the Spanish Authi built Mini 1275 GT.

Yes mate, they are brilliant models. I've sort of stopped buying so many of the Corgi, Vanguards etc and instead buy a Spark instead. For every 4 cheaper models I would have bought, I can get one Spark. They are awesome!
I wish i could afford them!
